Shari Flowers, M.D., FACR

Dr. Flowers completed her fellowship in Rheumatology at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.  She earned her MD at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.  She then stayed on to complete her Internal Medicine residency and her residency fellowship in Health Policy at George Washington University Hospital and School of Health Sciences.  Dr. Flowers attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Thought and Analysis.

Dr. Flowers is board certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.  She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the New Jersey Rheumatology Association. Dr. Flowers has expertise in arthritis, lupus, sjögren’s syndrome, systemic sclerosis, myositis, gout, bursitis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and raynaud’s as well as other inflammatory diseases.
