
Edward J. Barbarito, M.D.
Dr. Barbarito received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Rutgers University and his MD from New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at New Jersey Medical School and served as a Chief Medical Resident at Hackensack University Medical Center. In addition to gastroenterology fellowship training at New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Barbarito also completed an additional year of advanced therapeutic endoscopy training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Barbarito treats a full range of gastrointestinal disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease and colorectal cancer screening with colonoscopy. His areas of special interest include disorders of the pancreas and biliary tree, as well as performing BARRX radio frequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus.
Dr. Barbarito is on staff at Morristown Medical Center and Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville, and holds office hours in the Denville office location.

John G. Soriano, M.D.
Dr. Soriano received his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine were completed at Morristown Medical Center where he also served a year as Chief Medical Resident. He then completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Long Island College in Brooklyn. He was one of the founding members of Morris County Gastroenterology Associates approximately 25 years ago. During his career, Dr. Soriano has been named to “America’s Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. for the past 10 years and has been listed in New Jersey Monthly’s “Top Doctors” for 4 years. He is the Chief of Gastroenterology at Saint Clare’s Hospital and is also an attending physician at Morristown Medical Center.
